The world is changing gradually developing and everything. Teachers have to keep up with change.

Making 21th century technologies useful in education will increase the value of education. Technological tools attract every student.

Today, digital tools areimportant to increase student motivation and facilitate learning.

With this project;

By integrating digital tools into special needs education, we will make technology useful in education. We will increase the digital competence of students and teachers in the field of special needs.

We will ensure the development of students in academic and social and emotional fields.

 

Project Objectives

1-     Supporting different lesson curriculums with digital tools.

2-     According to the needs of the students; development of emotional, social and academic skills.

3-     Of Special needs education teachers; increase their competence in coding, web tools, virtual reality, educational applications.

Working process

Our project is one year project and each project partner will take responsibility at the same.

Regular online meetings will be held on the dates to be determined at the first meeting.

Studies within the specified time will be uploading to TwinSpace.

Project founders create Twinspace pages,each partner is responsible for uploading their own work.

OCTOBER-First meeting. Presentation of informations about the schools and their students to other partners by the partners of the Project.

 Project partners, Code.org to be member (the students met with Coding)

NOVEMBER- Presentation of the school with the photos taken by the students . Logo work of teachers

DECEMBER- Creating virtual Christmas and New Year greetings cards on the web for partners friends with paint programs. Video meeting with students.

JANUARY- Using augmented reality(AR) applications; organize for different lessons events with students  (Quivervision  3D, Animals 4D+)  Mid-term meeting with teachers

FEBRUARY- to make virtual trips to the cities of the city and other partners´s we live with our students(Emphasis on Cultural heritage)

MARCH - Teachers prepare, activities appropriate for students with the Learningapps tool and the students perform these activities.

APRİL- To enable students to create music with different phone applications.

MAY- Students do word cloud work using computer (WordArt, ABCya!)- eBook creation

JUNE- Evaluation report, Survey, Final meeting.

Our students´ learning speed is slow.For this reason, the duration of the project subjects has long.

Expectations

1-     For teachers;To be able to associate different subjects with digital technology

2-     For students; motivation, class participation, technological, academic and social skills are expected to increase.

3-     Integrate coding, web tools, virtual reality concepts in Special Needs Education
